Functional Clay, Peach Corner and 3daysofdesign

Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Studio

Frederiksholms Kanal 28 B

1220 Copenhagen

18–20 June 2025

Open daily from 10.00 to 18.00

In connection with 3daysofdesign 2025, Peach Corner holds a large exhibition at the Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen Studio at Frederiksholms Kanal 28 B. An old, historical studio along the canal in central Copenhagen that is not normally open to the public.

Peach Corner is an artist-run exhibition space for ceramics and a dynamic forum for artistic materializations in clay. Peach Corner is a platform for the full range of the ceramic field across crafts, design and visual arts in what is, obviously, a rather fluid field.

The exhibition theme is Functional Clay, and Peach Corner has invited both young talents and experienced makers and designers, who have demonstrated their passion for and insight into materials, crafts and function and who have a curious and visionary approach to their practice. They will present good clay ideas, sensuous shapes and clay and ceramics transformed into forms and designs with distinct character and contemporary relevance. Some exhibitors work with reuse and ready-mades, low-tech production and novel production aesthetic. Others embrace a digital or conceptual approach with new ways of viewing and using the clay and ceramics in relation to function, users and the audience.

The exhibition shows new works by:

Amalie Vöge Jensen

Birgit Marie Østerby

Cecilie Manz
